Our application tips

1. Preparing the nail: File and shape the nail, push back the cuticles and then gently mattify the surface to promote adhesion. Carefully remove any dust and apply a cleanser to remove any residue.

2. Base: Apply a thin layer of suitable base coat and cure according to your lamp (LED or UV). Ensure that the free edge is properly sealed.

3. Colour application: Apply a thin layer of the Vegan Gel – Mermaid Collection in regular movements. Catalyse. Repeat to intensify the highlights or achieve a more opaque shade.

4. Mermaid effect tip: To accentuate the iridescent depth, apply an additional very thin layer or combine it with a dark base (blue, black, mauve) depending on the desired effect.

5. Finish: Apply a top coat (glossy or holographic depending on the desired result), then cure. Allow to cool for a few seconds before wiping off the sticky layer if necessary.

6. Pro tip: For optimal hold, avoid hot water, oils or creams in the minutes following application. Remember to moisturise your cuticles regularly to enhance the iridescent effect.
